She thyinks that he is merely a well educated man used to power and dreaming of acquiring the top job in the country. She may have a point. I on the other hand am afraid that Romney is not as interested in doing the job of President of the United States as much as he is in having the title and the fawning perks.

Your post is thoughtful and well done!imatalkaboutit2uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572434338109404452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016253077154756564.post-44383838787668001652012-09-19T12:19:58.324-04:002012-09-19T12:19:58.324-04:00Who was it who first decided that this was a good ...Who was it who first decided that this was a good way to advertise your business? A generic, complimentary sentence or two (which, if you're lucky, will match up with the post above it - clumsily, in this case: "resources"?), linked to your website via your name.

I first saw these with people (often teens/YA's from places like Indonesia or the Middle East) advertising their own blogs. Then it was "generic drug" sites, then more grey-market sites (Russian Brides! Get yours TODAY). Check #nixonian on twitter, and you will find that I had him down as a bargain basement tricky dick months ago, before that idiot woman republican "pundit" ever thought to categorize him in that way. Of course, Nixon was a mean, bitter, vicious, evil, calculating bastard, but he was a giant compared to Mitler. They do have a lot in common, though, Mitler is somewhat better looking. Shoe polish black on top, silver on the sides, cold political calculus, and the tendency to reverse even his supposedly most strongly held stances. Nixon was smart, though, and Romney is obviously a complete idiot who would be flipping burgers were it not for his charter membership in the Lucky Sperm club.
Bill Heffnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016253077154756564.post-64066359912327722112012-09-19T09:23:31.038-04:002012-09-19T09:23:31.038-04:00reading this, about at the middle, i was reminded ...reading this, about at the middle, i was reminded of this which i reckon had it pegged - way back on Jan 16 no less.

http://www.condenaststore.com/-sp/Picket-sign-outside-a-home-reads-Oh-alright-Fine-Romney-New-Yorker-Cartoon-Prints_i8672950_.htm

i also have to say, with all those presidential hopefuls earlier in the year allusion was made to the clown car by many watchers.... that now that looks doubly apt as the last man to step out has had a campaign full of treading on his own (oversize!) feet, pratfalls, pie throwing (or mebbe being hit by?), plenty of slapstick and other clownish mayhem. at least, it appears to me....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016253077154756564.post-31757729464421328582012-09-19T09:18:12.617-04:002012-09-19T09:18:12.617-04:00Excellent post. I have met several wealthy executives at major corporations, and you are dead-on correct: they are used to an authoritarian position where their words are never questioned, even when smart people with knowledge and experience might give them excellent, alternative advice. The authoritarianism acts like a shield to deflect any outside alternatives. It is the same attitude where, when one holds their empty hand out in the air, they expect "someone" to place a refreshing cold beverage in their hand - or when they drop a napkin, someone is there behind them to pick it up. THis is where the dismissiveness comes from. It is practiced.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5016253077154756564.post-81037632999274043242012-09-19T05:29:01.369-04:002012-09-19T05:29:01.369-04:00Interesting post.
